Long Meditation: Meditations of 3+ hours produce a calmer and more receptive frame of mind paving the way for through relaxation, increased energy and enhanced self-awareness.
Guidance Groups: Led by our experienced instructor, guidance groups provide an opportunity to improve meditation skills and explore personal issues.
Seminars & Social Interactions:
Increase your understanding of the psychology of Acem Meditation. Enjoy long walks and swimming on the beach / pool with your fellow meditators.
The Acem retreat takes place in a beautiful decorated private Acem location in the town of Cabarete. The safe and secure location is walking distance to very nice restaurants and other the in-town amenities as well as just steps to the beach where you can enjoy, walks and water sports.
Early arrival, or stay longer. There are limited possibilities for arriving before or depart after the retreat. The price for additional nights is $100 USD per night. Meals or housekeeping is not provided during the non-retreat days. Please note that the last paragraph which notes the guidelines for staying on Acem Properties before booking.
What is included in the course fee? The price includes accommodation (private bedroom/private bathroom) for the duration of the retreat, meals prepared by Acem staff in Acem property, retreat lectures, classes, meditation guidance, group and solo meditation events, access to pool and beach. The price does NOT include: flight fare, meals outside of Acem property, books, requests for new meditation sound, transport to and from airport etc.
Meals. All meals will be lacto-vegetarian, and alcohol will not be served. If you are on a special diet, please let us know upon registration.
Please abstain from consuming non-vegetarian foods, alcohol or illegal drugs while on Acem property.
